Award for Volunteer Groundsman of the Year 2011

Graham Wallett from Mark Harrod Ltd presented Keith Hughes form Menai Cricket Club with the Volunteer Sports Grounds man of the Year Award at the Institute of Groundsmanship (IOG) Industry Awards.

Keith is part of a team that looks after the main cricket ground and two bay artificial net facilities at Menai.

The Award was presented in front of an audience of almost 350 of the UK’s and Europe’s leading groundscare experts in a glittering Oscar-style ceremony at the Bolton’s Reebok Stadium. This is the third year that Mark Harrod Ltd has sponsored the Volunteer Sports Grounds man of the Year Award and Graham was delighted to be on hand to congratulate Keith on all his hard work.
